Steve Crook
Steve studied computer animation at Glamorgan University (GCADT) and currently works as a 3D artist for a video games developer. He loves art of all kinds but concentrates mainly on CG/digital art for work, and cartoons/drawing in his spare time. His hobbies include surfing, and a South Korean martial art called Kuk Sool Won.
His first book, Lion’s Lie-in, was published in 2024 and he hopes that you and your families have lots of fun, and create some wonderful memories reading it together.

Braw Illustrations is a Scottish freelance illustration service, founded by Duncan of Jordanstone design graduate, Karen MacAllister.
With a specialism in Illustration & Printmaking, Karen is a published, skilled and experienced practitioner in producing artwork and illustrative work within a variety of styles and techniques. Karen is able to work to a client brief, meet deadlines and understands the needs of clients and their businesses.
Karen is highly adaptable in her artistic approach and can produce illustrations and artwork in both analogue and digital styles. Karen has a unique, bold and colourful style within her illustrative work.
Helen Cochrane
Helen is a West Lothian based artist who loves creating both traditional and digital art.
Helen holds a BA in contemporary art, majoring in illustration, and has so far worked on fifteen books as well has having over 100 cartoons published in the Financial Times - the Megafiles cartoons.
